New Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs: Grants of up to EUR 7,000 to Support Business Development
The Support for Expanding Women’s Economic Empowerment programme has been launched to promote women’s entrepreneurship and strengthen the economic resilience of women affected by the war.
The programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with the support of the Neighbour in Need Fund and the Austrian Development Agency.
Who can apply
Women from all regions of Ukraine who have been affected by the war, including:
– internally displaced women;
– women who have lost their jobs or businesses;
– single mothers;
– women with disabilities;
– women veterans.
What the programme offers:
– business education and training to develop entrepreneurial skills;
– mentoring support and networking with experienced entrepreneurs and experts;
– support for social and innovative micro and small businesses;
– participation in dedicated REDpreneur Women groups that create a safe and supportive environment for growth and development.
Programme format:
– 25 participants will undergo an intensive training programme at the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator;
– 17 finalists will receive further support and grants of EUR 7,000 each to implement their business ideas.
