Good news for the coal communities of Lviv Region!
With the support of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, five more entrepreneurs and veterans secured grant funding this week to grow their businesses and bring new initiatives to life:
UAH 212,233 – a veteran from the Sokal community to establish a martial arts training facility with a rehabilitation space for local residents and veterans;
UAH 216,000 – a veteran from the Sheptytskyi community to purchase equipment for a furniture manufacturing business;
UAH 100,000 – a veteran from the Sheptytskyi community to purchase equipment for a home insulation services business;
UAH 350,000 – an entrepreneur from the Sheptytskyi community to open a footwear store;
UAH 350,000 – a woman entrepreneur from the Belz community to purchase equipment for the production of snail feed.
To date, the Association has helped secure a total of UAH 24,578,333 in grant funding to support entrepreneurs, veterans, and the sustainable development of Ukraine’s coal communities.
These new projects will also create five new jobs, contributing to local economic growth and strengthening community resilience.
