Grant of up to UAH 1.3 million to support veterans’ initiatives

The International Renaissance Foundation has announced the fifth wave of the “Hold the line!” competition, aimed at supporting veteran organizations and initiatives.

The goal of the competition is to help veteran organizations develop expertise and professionalism, strengthen their institutional capacity, and improve the effectiveness of support provided to veterans and their families.

Priority areas of support:

➡ legal, social, psychological, informational, and rehabilitation services for servicemen and servicewomen, veterans, and their family members

➡ development and implementation of local reintegration tools and preparing communities for the return of veterans

➡ support for military families — caring for “those who are waiting”

➡ creation and development of veteran spaces, hubs, and other support centers

➡ strengthening communication and constructive cooperation between the veteran community, the state, local governments, and other social institutions
