Grant Opportunities Workshop Held in the Burshtyn Community
Today, Oksana Tomashuk, Deputy CEO of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, and Olena Yanchyshyn, Project Manager, delivered a workshop in the Burshtyn community for entrepreneurs, veterans, and representatives of civil society organizations.
During the session, Olena Yanchyshyn introduced the Association’s work, presented current grant funding opportunities for businesses, explained how grant programmes operate, highlighted key aspects of preparing a competitive grant application, and shared successful examples of entrepreneurs who have secured funding with the Association’s support.
“For the Association, it is essential that representatives of coal communities have the knowledge and confidence to take advantage of grant opportunities and turn their ideas into reality. That is why we not only provide information on available funding programmes but also deliver training and support applicants throughout the grant application process. Our goal is to help more high-quality projects secure funding, create new opportunities for local people, and contribute to the sustainable development of communities on their path toward a just transition,” said Oksana Tomashuk.
We sincerely thank the Burshtyn community for the invitation and all participants for their active engagement, insightful questions, and commitment to developing their ideas.
We hope today’s workshop will become the starting point for new successful projects and create even more opportunities to attract grant funding for the community.
