Grants for Veterans and Their Families

The Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, in collaboration with the "Warrior’s House," held a training session in the Sheptytsky community for local veterans and their family members on securing grant funding.

The Association’s grant manager, Oksana Vikhot, provided insights into current opportunities and effective tools for obtaining grants. She also introduced mechanisms for cooperation with the Association, which successfully provides free grant support to entrepreneurs from coal communities.

"Grant funding is one of the most effective mechanisms that often serves as the foundation for establishing a successful business or as a catalyst for scaling an existing enterprise. It also creates new jobs and steady contributions to the local budget. Our veterans and their families in the Sheptytsky community have many promising business ideas, so the Association will actively assist them in securing funding support for their implementation," stated Oksana Vikhot.

As of today, the Association’s team has already secured UAH 11,880,000 for businesses in coal communities, contributing to the creation of new jobs.
