Intensive Training for Coal Communities: How to Successfully Apply for the LIFE Programme
Today, the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine organized an intensive online training session for representatives of coal communities. The event focused on the LIFE Programme, which offers financial support from the European Union for projects related to environmental protection, climate change mitigation, and the transition to renewable energy sources.
Vita Miropoltseva, an expert in project writing and implementation within the EU, was the training's key speaker. She provided a detailed overview of the LIFE Programme, including its objectives, themes, and priorities. Participants also explored the program’s structure, the involvement of partners, project implementation, and important aspects to consider when preparing an application.
“Thanks to this focused and productive training, now representatives of coal communities have a clear understanding of how to craft and submit a successful application for the LIFE Programme. I’m confident that this is just the beginning, and that many projects will secure funding. We’ve agreed to continue our collaboration and offer further assistance in project implementation for representatives of coal communities,” stated Andriy Tabinskyy, Head of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine.
