Meeting of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine and representatives of thermal generation communities with the Sustainable Development Agency "Astar"

For several years now, the public organization 'Sustainable Development Agency 'ASTAR'' has been implementing numerous projects and initiatives in territorial communities across our country, thereby helping to achieve sustainable development goals in the economic, social, and environmental spheres.

A meeting was held between representatives of 'ASTAR' and communities from the Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions. They discussed the prospects and challenges for the green transformation of coal communities, exchanged experiences, and identified effective mechanisms for further development.

'It was truly a productive meeting of active and ambitious like-minded individuals who share a common vision for the future, who are ready to share experiences and achievements, and who are willing to combine their efforts for the comprehensive development of territorial communities as well as small and medium-sized businesses. I am convinced that this is just the beginning of future cooperation between coal communities and the Agency, which will become systematic. By the way, the painting of jays, which the Association presented to the representatives of 'ASTAR,' is quite symbolic. It was painted with coal, and the birds served as a signal to miners when there was a lack of oxygen in the mines,' stated the head of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, Andriy Tabinskyy .
