Meeting with the Head of Pershotravensk: Discussion on Infrastructure Modernization and Attracting International Investments
The head of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, Andriy Tabinskyy, the advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Валентина Москаленко, and the head of the Department for Interaction with Local Authorities at DTEK Energy, Viktor Dybash, held a meeting with the head of Pershotravensk territorial community in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oksana Vinnytska.
The main economic sector in the Pershotravensk territorial community is the coal industry. The community is on the path of just transition, addressing the challenges related to solving current issues of community life. In particular, the most pressing issues today are ensuring the city has adequate water and heating supplies.
"During the meeting, we emphasized the need to modernize the heating and water supply systems in general, and discussed options for using alternative sources to ensure the city can safely enter the heating season. We also agreed on further close cooperation between the community and the Association to attract international investments for the development of Pershotravensk's infrastructure and to find grant programs for the development of local small and medium-sized businesses," stated Andriy Tabinskyy.
