Modern Energy Efficiency Standards

Germany is investing over 9 million UAH in the energy efficiency of the Mining and Economic College in Sheptytsky. The project is being implemented with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
A 35 kW solar power station has already been installed on the roof of the college dormitory, significantly reducing electricity costs and increasing energy independence. Additionally, facade insulation work is underway, which will considerably reduce heat loss and ensure a comfortable indoor temperature.
It is worth noting that the Mining and Economic College is actively involved in the process of just transition in the Sheptytsky coal microregion. In particular, the institution has developed a model for the "Smart Building Management Technologies" center and drafted a project for an "Educational and Logistics Center," which aims to provide financial and organizational support for the region's coal industry transformation
