Online meeting with the Association of Mining Municipalities of Poland

We continue actively to collaborate with our European colleagues—the Association of Mining Municipalities of Poland (Stowarzyszenie Gmin Górniczych w Polsce). Today, we were helding an online meeting attended by Michał Urgoł, Chairman of the Association's Board (Mayor of Jastrzębie-Zdrój), his deputy Zbyszek Podleśny (Mayor of Radlin), Jacek Latko (Mayor of Libiąż), and Adrianna Kordiak-Woryna, Director of the SGGP Office.  

We discussed prospects for participating in joint projects within the context of a just transition, fostering partnerships between members of the Association and coal communities in Poland. An agreement was reached on a future visit of representatives of the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine to Poland.  

We kindly remind that during the Forum "Just Transition of Coal Communities of Ukraine", a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Associations.
