Successful Examples of Grant Support for Coal Communities
The Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, together with the NGO Dii-Ya-Ty, has secured UAH 600,000 for Vocational School No. 11 in Sheptytskyi.
These funds are allocated to implement the project “Skills for Inclusion: On-the-Job Training to Empower Vulnerable Groups.”
As part of the project, a retraining course will be launched, leading to partial qualifications as an Electrical Technician for Security Systems and Portable Solar Power Stations, tailored to meet current labor market needs.
The initiative is being implemented under the multi-donor Skills4Recovery program, supported by the EU, Germany, Poland and Estonia.
🔜 And this is just the beginning — we’ll soon share more stories of successful projects.
