The Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine held a meeting with Miriam Faulwetter

The Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine held a meeting with Miriam Faulwetter, Director of the Power4JustTransition project at GIZ Ukraine and her team.

During the meeting, the Association presented the results of its activities for 2025 and outlined plans for the upcoming year. The discussion covered the implementation of the State Target Program “Just Transition,” support for the energy transition, and the attraction of international technical assistance to foster entrepreneurship in coal communities.

Throughout the year, the member communities of the Association have made tremendous progress on their path toward a just transition. We sincerely thank our colleagues from GIZ Ukraine for their ongoing support at every stage of this journey, for our joint efforts to develop coal regions, and for their contribution to building systemic changes that strengthen the energy resilience of communities.
