UAH 549,252 for Vocational School No. 11 in Sheptytskyi to implement the project “Skills for Inclusion: On-the-Job Training to Empower Vulnerable Groups”
The Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, in partnership with the NGO “Dii-Ya-Ty,” has helped secure UAH 549,252 for Vocational School No. 11 in Sheptytskyi to implement the project “Skills for Inclusion: On-the-Job Training to Empower Vulnerable Groups.”
The initiative is being implemented within the multi-donor Skills4Recovery program, supported by the EU, Germany, Poland and Estonia.
The project includes a retraining course leading to partial qualifications as an “Electrical Technician for Installing Security Systems and Portable Solar Power Stations,” designed to meet current labor market demands.
Its goal is to enhance the competitiveness of young people, veterans, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other vulnerable groups by equipping them with in-demand technical skills. It also aims to foster the economic integration of IDPs and youth in the region through high-quality education and strong partnerships with local employers.
As of today, the Association has attracted over UAH 18,292,316 to support representatives of coal communities.
