Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026
Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 once again proved to be one of the leading international platforms dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery.
Held this year in Gdańsk, URC 2026 was the largest edition of the conference to date, bringing together a record number of representatives from governments, international organisations, businesses, local governments, and civil society. The conference provided a platform for strengthening international support for Ukraine and advancing practical solutions for the country’s long-term recovery and sustainable development.
The Association’s Executive Director, Andriy Tabinskyy, participated in URC 2026, joining thematic discussions and holding meetings with international partners and representatives of donor organisations.
Throughout the conference, particular attention was given to the pivotal role of local communities in Ukraine’s recovery. It is at the local level that initiatives focused on economic diversification, the just transition of coal regions, the development of decentralised energy systems, investment attraction, and international partnerships are being implemented.
There is still much work ahead to transform the agreements, new partnerships, and ideas initiated during the conference into concrete actions. The true value of international platforms such as URC lies not only in meaningful dialogue, but in delivering tangible results through successful projects, strong partnerships, and practical solutions that contribute to the long-term development and resilience of Ukraine and its communities.
