Up to $5,000 in grant support is available from the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps, funded by the UK Government through UK Aid, under the BLOOM program (Building Livelihoods and Opportunities for Optimised Markets).
The program aims to support self-employed individuals and microbusinesses affected by the war, helping them restore their economic activity.
Funds can be used for:
– purchasing equipment and tools;
– acquiring materials necessary to start or expand a business.
Benefits:
– receive financial assistance to restart or launch your business;
– develop entrepreneurial skills;
– strengthen household economic resilience.
Eligible applicants:
Internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local residents of Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions (in government-controlled areas), including:
– people with disabilities;
– veterans and their family members;
– unemployed individuals aged 50+;
– low-income households;
– women who are heads of households;
– members of marginalized groups.
